Action for Children is delighted to become the lead partner for Fakenham Gateway Children’s Centre from 1st April 2019, managing the service on behalf of Norfolk County Council.
What does this mean for the Children’s Centre services?
The Children’s Centre programme of services will continue as currently planned for the summer term. The only change families may see from 1st April 2019 is the Action for Children logo in the centre and on marketing information.
What does this mean for the Children’s Centre staff?
The same Children’s Centre staff will continue to deliver the Children’s Centre groups, activities and services. Action for Children have met with the Fakenham Gateway Children’s Centre team and look forward to welcoming them into the organisation on 1st April 2019.
Who is Action for Children?
Action for Children is a national children’s charity delivering a range of services to support and improve the lives of children. In Norfolk, Action for Children manages 32 Children’s Centres. It also delivers the Cafcass funded Separated Parents Information Programme (SPIP) and the Big Lottery Building Connections funded Chat & Play: Its starts with hello groups.
